What types of water do you offer?

Silver Springs Bottled Water Company produces four different types of bottled water: Steam Distilled Water, Purified Water, Drinking Water and Spring Water.

What is the difference between each of type of bottled water?

Steam Distilled Water
We use our well water and heat it to produce steam. The minerals are left behind and the steam is condensed for a pure, mineral free water. The product is then subject to UV light, micron filtration and ozonation before bottling.

Purified Water
We use our well water and reverse osmosis which is forcing the water through a semi-permeable membrane (the water passes through but the minerals do not). The water is then processed further with UV light, micron filtration and ozonation before being bottled.

Drinking Water
We use our well water and the reverse osmosis process and add electrolytes back in for hydration as well as flavor. This product is then processed further with UV light application, micron filtration and ozonation before being bottled.

Spring Water
Our spring water comes from protected springs and arrives at our facility via stainless steel dedicated tankers and is processed further by UV light, micron filtration and ozonation before final packaging.

What is Silver Springs delivery service area?

Silver Springs offers delivery service in Marion County and throughout the central and north central Florida (FL) area. If you're located in Ocala, Gainesville, Leesburg, Orlando or a surrounding area, you're within our delivery service area. Click here to get started with water delivery service. How much water do I need to order for my home or office?

Residential customers should anticipate using about one 5 gallon bottle per adult per week. If you are also using your water for cooking, coffee, pets or you are an active athlete, you may want to increase this amount. Since bottled water is a healthy alternative to sugary sodas and fruit drinks, we think it's better to have too much than to run out! We're biased of course!

Commercial customers can take the number of employees in the office and divide it in two - the result is a great estimate for how many 5 Gallon bottles you will use on a monthly basis. Again, offices with active employees or where the water is being used for coffee, soups, etc., will probably want to order additional bottles.

Should I buy or rent a water cooler?

This is purely personal preference. The water coolers we carry are selected for their quality construction and durability. They have a long life expectancy - often exceeding five years. However, high-traffic offices and even homes may prefer the convenience of a rental cooler. Rental coolers remain Silver Springs and if you have a problem, we can take care of it for you quickly and with minimal inconvenience.

What is the most popular type of water dispenser?

Hot and Cold rentals are the most common dispenser for the office. At home, Room and Cold cooler rentals are slightly more popular and Porcelain crock dispensers are extremely popular because of their classic look and simple design.

If I set-up home or office delivery service, how quickly can I expect my delivery?

Generally speaking, you can expect your delivery within a week of setting up service, but your customer service rep will provide you with a delivery date when you sign up.

Is bottled water environmentally friendly?

It is! Most people don't realize that our bottles are reusable, recyclable and many sizes are refillable! Do you ever wonder why you don't see 5 Gallon bottles by the side of the road or in landfills? Think about it.

How much does it cost to have Silver Springs Bottled Water Delivery?

How do I clean my water cooler?

All of our coolers use a water guard system that prevents dust and dirt particles from getting into the water reservoir. We also use a no spill cap on our bottles to keep impurities out. Using a mild soap and water on the outside of the cooler is all you need to keep it clean.

I'm an existing water delivery customer. When is my next delivery?

There are a few different ways to learn about your next delivery. Your ‘Next Delivery Date’ is printed on the bottom of every delivery ticket as well as our blue delivery schedule card that we give out every December. If neither of these is available just call 800-401-3259 and speak to one of our friendly customer service representatives and they will be able to help you.
